About Us
Julie Acevedo-Lopez, founder of Clothes on the Line, had traveled to small
towns in Central America and could not help but notice the native women
still weaving cotton and wool by hand.
The tradition still exists today and great products are produced by hand,
pesticide and chemical free.
In a country where culture is preserved with customs and traditions while
living with modern day society, Guatemalan life still showcases and prides
itself on it's unique and organic production of textiles. Organic textiles are
easily made and are a way of life. With the current economy, they are
forced to use natures resources to feed the livestock (sheep).
Purchasing products from this website will help the community which the
products are made.
